Ayrshire Chess Logo Competition 2015
Win a chess set and board (and two sets and boards for your school)
All you need to do is prepare a logo based on the guidelines below and send in your design
to the address at the end of this sheet before 30th April 2015.
Your logo should be drawn on an A4 piece of paper with your name, address, telephone number, date of birth and name of your school on the back of the page.
The only restrictions are that you must be aged under 14 now and go to a school in Ayrshire.
Guidelines
The logo should be your own original work – not a copy of someone else’s work.
The logo should have two or three colours.
You can use chess pieces as the theme or the chessboard itself or use the ACA letters as part of the logo – it’s up to you but there must be something linked to chess in the logo.
There is no entry fee and you can send in as many entries as you want.
If your design is chosen then you will win a chess board and set for yourself and another two boards and sets for your school chess club.
If your logo wins then Ayrshire Chess Association (ACA) will use it as one of the official symbols and the logo will be used on the Ayrshire Chess website, stationery and other promotion items.
The prize winner shall therefore sign a release form that grants exclusive rights to ACA to publish, edit and display the submitted image for any suitable purpose and disallows the winner to use the logo elsewhere.
The Ayrshire Chess Association will not be responsible for illegible, lost, delayed or misdirected mail or incomplete entries and also reserves the right to exclude from the competition all the submissions that do not follow the defined guidelines
